Early Childhood Enrichment Center - St. Andrew Catholic Churc

The Catholic Schools, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Miami, have an open admission policy, whereby students are accepted without reference to race, color or national origin. Furthermore, these schools do not foster attendance by students who are avoiding integration at other schools.

Age Requirements

  • 2 Year Old Program - must by 2 by Sept. 1st
  • 3 Year Old Program - must by 3 by Sept. 1st*
  • 4 Year Old Program - must by 4 by Sept. 1st*

* In order to be enrolled in the Pre-K 3 & 4 program, a student must be able to take care of all his/her toilet needs without any adult assistance.

Admission Policies

All new students will be admitted subject to a ninety day probationary period.

Given the mission of the school as an agent of Catholic Christian formation, the school will accept only those children whose parents demonstrate an understanding of the specifically Christian nature of the school and the desire to participate in that mission. The school admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Saint Andrew Catholic School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, or athletic and other school administered policies. The school does not discriminate on the basis of disability, if with reasonable accommodations; the student can meet the academic and behavioral requirements of the school.

The schools of the Archdiocese follows the guidelines of the Florida Catholic Conference with regard to the age of admission to Kindergarten or First Grade.

St. Andrew Catholic School exists to serve the needs of its parishioners. The order in which students are considered for admission and continued enrollment in SACS is as follows:

  • Practicing St. Andrew parishioners with siblings already at SACS
  • Practicing St. Andrew parishioners
  • Students coming from other Catholic Schools with a letter from their Pastor and Principal
  • Practicing Catholics Out-of-Parish with a letter from their Pastor or Principal
  • Non-practicing Catholics who now wish to become active practicing Catholics
  • Non-Catholics

In asking for their children to be accepted into this parish school, parents are agreeing to attend Mass with them every Sunday. Weekly family attendance at Mass is mandatory and will be monitored through the family's use of the parish envelope system.
