Curriculum
St. Andrew Early Childhood Enrichment center provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum. The Creative curriculum establishes the basis for our program. Creative learning environments and specially planned activities supplement program content. The environment and activities are planned to enhance children's growth and development. Throughout each day, children are given the opportunity to play, discover, and learn. The daily schedule consists of a balance of large group, small group, and independently conducted activities. Each day children explore, manipulate, investigate, and discover by participation in activities related to language/literacy, math, music, art, dramatic play and fine/motor skills.
Religious Education
Religious education is an integral part of our program. Religion is taught daily and the quality of Catholic education is clear. Pre-school Para liturgies are once a month.
Lunch Program
A hot lunch program, from our cafeteria, is offered for full day students. If children bring a bag lunch, we encourage the parents to provide a well-balanced nutritional meal. Individual classroom teachers will advise parents of their snack policy.
Discovery Program
A great combination of classes that incorporates all aspects of preschool development. Children are given extra opportunities for imaginative play, creative expression in music, art, movement, and dramatic activities. Children are exposed to a wide variety of children's literature, and are encouraged to explore, learn to ask questions, and develop problem-solving abilities.
