On Thursday morning, the parishioners donations for the Respect Life Month were sent to the local Respect Life Office for distribution to those in need. At the same time a large donation of food arrived for the Outreach Ministry. A big “Thank You” to all for your generosity.
COURAGE AND CONVICTION: THE TRUE STORY OF COLUMBUS
“A thorough examination of the life and legacy of the fearless discoverer of America, narrated by actor Chazz Palminteri, this film provides insight into Christopher Columbus’ remarkable genius as a sea navigator as well as his deep desire to bring all nations to Christ. Through expert interviews and archival footage, we look at the origins of Columbus Day and the symbolic role that Columbus has for Catholic immigrants, especially Italian Americans. Finally, the film addresses the current indictments against Christopher Columbus with boldness and exposes the motives behind the attacks of revisionist historians. Courage and Conviction shows why Christopher Columbus remains not only a man worthy of admiration, but a noble icon of what it means to be a Catholic and an America.”
Now more than ever, we need good news and since our mission is to deliver good news to families around the country we have created the National Good News! Day to celebrate the American spirit through the goodness of our people, the richness of our culture, and the blessings of our God with stories that will inspire us to Read. Lead. Succeed.
“The news lately can be scary for many, especially, children and teens,” said Liz Lantigua, founder and CEO of Good News! Book Fair. “We want to give them perspective through inspirational speakers who will be sharing their messages of opportunity, hope, 2nd chances and the resilience of our people and our country.”
We will be sharing good news in a free 2-hour streaming program on October 15, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST.

For weeks, we’ve been hard at work doing everything possible to ensure Matthew Kelly’s tour becomes a reality even in the time of COVID-19. We are excited to announce that your scheduled Amazing Possibilities event is still happening just going virtual! And, because we are going virtual, we are pleased to be able to include a time of live, interactive Q&A with Matthew, a live interactive Dream Session, a video from the Kelly children, prizes and more. And your event materials will be mailed right to your doorstep!
Thursday, November 5th, 2020
-Access to the event will be sent to you via email-
We recognize you were hoping to see Matthew Kelly in person, so we have worked hard to ensure that this experience is as incredible – perhaps even more so- than what you would have experienced if COVID-19 had not altered our world and lives. If you have any questions please check your email for further communication, visit our website or contact our Mission Team at (859) 980-7900.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a ministry to adults who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Many participants decide to receive the sacraments of our faith and live their lives as Catholic Christians. RCIA addresses the conversation of:
Adults who have never been baptized
Adults who have been baptized in another Christian tradition
Adults who were baptized Catholic but have had no instruction in the faith or have not received the Sacraments of First Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
We meet on Sunday “Come, and you will see” Jn. 1:39
