Pope Francis has invited Catholics and all people of faith to observe tomorrow, October 27th, as a day dedicated to prayer, fasting, and penance for peace and reconciliation in Israel and Gaza. In a message earlier this week the Holy Father implored those in the Holy Land to “Lay down weapons and heed the cries for peace from the poor, the people, and the innocent children.”
