Religious Education

The Religious Education Department at Saint Andrew Catholic Church invites children and teens to live out their Catholic faith as they learn of God’s amazing love for them and His church. We also prepare children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Students experience the Gospel values of Jesus Christ with an understanding of what it truly means to live and worship as a Roman Catholic. Our desire is to awaken the faith of every child with genuine discovery and wonder at the active presence of God in their life, the life of the Church and in their world. Our religious education classes are taught by a loving, faith-filled team of certified and dedicated volunteer Catechists. All children are welcome.

Sacramental preparation is in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Miami; requiring two full years of sacrament preparation. Children receiving First Communion generally prepare during 1st and 2nd grade and those receiving Confirmation generally prepare during 8th and 9th grade.

Below, you will find the 2018-2019 registration form for Religious Education. If you would like to register your child, please complete the registration form and return it to the Religious Education office. For more information, you may also view our Religious Education handbook by clicking here.
